Lucia and her family are trying to raise $17,000 for a service dog which will help detect her seizures and ease her falls. Santa is Coming to Town!!
The City of Lawrenceburg has announced a change to the 2020 Christmas parade, which had been scheduled for Saturday, Dec. 5.The following statement was issued by the city, explaining the cancellation – “Unfortunately, this year we are having to cancel the Christmas Parade. With the new mandates, this prohibits the ACHS Marching band, sports teams, and groups from participating. Anderson County alone had 25 positive cases yesterday. Come by the Lawrenceburg Green on Saturday, Dec. 5 from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. to visit with Santa and the Grinch. If you haven’t sent off your letter to Santa yet, bring it along and put it in the special Santa Letters mailbox, which will be in place at the Green. Masks will be required, as will social distancing.
